Meet the Interns of Summer 2019!

Meet the interns that will be working in the Maryland State Office this summer...

Trevor Skoglund

About Trevor:

Hometown: Tolland, Connecticut

College: The Salisbury University “GO GULLS”

Major: Business Marketing and Professional Selling

Favorite Sport: Football because I played it but Soccer, Lacrosse and Ice Hockey are also        big time favorites.

Fun Facts: 

-Holds record for longest losing streak in Intramural basketball at Salisbury University.

-Wears only left footed socks.

-Champion of 1st Grade Spelling Bee. 

Why FCA? "I began attending FCA as a sophomore at Salisbury as a student and transitioned to a huddle leader during the following year. FCA has been an integral part of my walk with Christ since then as it gave me my first real experience with who God is. Due to this I hold what FCA does very close to my heart, as I can honestly say I don’t know where I would be if it wasn’t for FCA. Therefore, for this summer when the opportunity arose for me to intern with FCA and share the stories of the incredible things that go on with in it, it was a no brainer for me!"


Megan Benoit

About Megan:

Hometown: Atlanta, Georgia

College: Berry College

Major: Communication - Public Relations

Favorite Sport: Soccer and Running

Fun Fact: 

-Dessert is my favorite food

-My goal is to live in Hawaii one day

Why FCA? "FCA’s mission embodies being the hands and feet of Christ in the world of sports and I love how the staff and volunteers meet athletes on their own turf when first sharing the Gospel with them."

Laney Treacy

About Laney:

Hometown: Woodbine, MD

School: Bucknell University

Major: Chemical Engineering- Material Science

Favorite sport to play: Field Hockey

Favorite sport to watch: Ice Hockey, Lacrosse

Fact: Everything is better with Old Bay

Fun Fact(s): 

-Aspires to be on Jeopardy!

-Moonlights as school mascot, Bucky the Bison

Why FCA? "FCA has played a large role in my walk with Christ."
